There are many advantages of using home remedies for hair loss. Home remedies are free of harsh chemicals and have no side effects, save time, have elastic effect, and usually the materials are easily available.
Onion Curry Leaf Hair Mask
Onion contains dietary sulfur which helps in the production of carotene and other enzymes in your scalp, promoting healthy hair growth. Curry leaves are rich in antioxidants, making your hair stronger.
To make the mask, blend a few pieces of onion in a grinder with little water and strain the juice. Grind a fistful of curry leaves into a smooth paste and add the onion juice into it. Mix and apply this mixture on your scalp and hair. Leave it on for an hour and wash it off with a mild shampoo. Use this mask once a week.
Fenugreek Seeds and Hibiscus Hair Mask
Fenugreek seeds are rich in iron and protein, which are essential for healthy hair growth. Hibiscus flower and leaf contain flavonoids which improve blood circulation to your hair follicles, making your hair strong from the roots and preventing hair fall.
To make the mask, soak 2 tbsp of fenugreek seeds in 1 cup of water overnight. Boil the seeds in the same water and after cooling, grind the seeds into a paste using the same water along with three to four hibiscus leaves and hibiscus flower. Massage the paste on your scalp and leave it for 30 minutes. Rinse your hair with lukewarm water and a mild shampoo. Apply this mask twice a week.
Aloe Vera and Olive Oil Hair Mask
Aloe vera contains vitamins which contribute to self rejuvenation. Olive oil is a rich source of Vitamin A and E, which helps to strengthen hair strands and stimulate hair follicles.
To make the mask, take 2 tbsp of aloe vera gel and add 3 tbsp of olive oil in a bowl. Mix well and use this mixture to massage your scalp for 10 minutes. Leave it on for another 30 minutes and then wash your scalp with a mild shampoo. You can use this once or twice a week.
Soap Nut and Herbs Shampoo
Soap nut contains saponin, a natural cleaning agent and is used as a shampoo that thoroughly cleans your scalp and hair. It also has a mild, refreshing scent.
To make the shampoo, tie three to four soap nuts in muslin cloths and keep this in a pan with one cup of water. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer for 10 minutes. Add half a cup of water and simmer for 10 more minutes. Remove from heat and allow it to cool. Squeeze the bundle of soft nuts until the soapy side comes out. Raise the bundle with little water and squeeze again, collecting the soapy solution. In this solution, add 1 tsp of amla powder and 1 tsp of shikakai powder. Massage this soapy solution on your scalp and let it sit for 5 minutes. Rinse well. You can do this once or twice a week. This is a good shampoo and body wash for those who suffer from eczema and psoriasis.

If you are concerned about hair fall, eat a balanced diet and do not skip any meals as fasting deprives the body of essential nutrients, leading to hair fall.
